One of the Northwest’s most experienced strategic planners has come to Hydrogen Advertising. Hillary Miller is now the agency’s Vice President of Account Strategy. “I’m thrilled to have someone of Hillary’s caliber join our team,” said Kim Yale, Hydrogen VP Director of Accounts. “She’s particularly good at finding insights that lead to deep connections between people and brands.”
Hillary spent more than five years at the Wunderman Network in Seattle, where she supervised planning for global Microsoft and T-Mobile USA teams.
Before that, she was at Seattle’s DDB agency, where, over 16 years, she held a number of positions including account supervisor on the Holland America Line and JanSport accounts. Hillary then turned to account planning, handling strategy for Amtrak Cascades and Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, and ultimately supervised the agency’s strategic planning department. Hillary was also part of the DDB Worldwide group in charge of incorporating best practices from 200+ offices around the globe.
Hillary started her advertising career immediately after graduating in communications at the University of Washington. Working for several Seattle agencies, Hillary attained valuable experience in the categories of quick service restaurants, travel and technology.
Speaking about Hillary, Hydrogen president Rick Peterson noted, “She brings a depth of planning and account experience to Hydrogen. But more than that, she brings great intelligence. Plus energy, enthusiasm, curiosity and drive. She’s the whole package.”
In addition to her work life, Hillary has a passion for travel and the study of European history. She’s made more than a dozen extended trips to Europe. And she’s been to every U.S. state and every province and territory in Canada, including each of their capitols.
