Fasten your seatbelts. Hydrogen Launches Kenworth’s Next Generation Truck.
Truck drivers spend an average of 300 days on the road each year. So no group is better equipped to tell engineers and designers what they need to make their driving time safer, more productive and more comfortable. That’s why the design team at Kenworth Trucks work closely with real drivers—who face real issues on the road—to help them redesign their newest on-highway truck: The T680 Next Generation. As Kenworth’s long-time advertising partner, Hydrogen worked with the Kenworth product and marketing team to build awareness, excitement and drive interested buyers and media influencers to a virtual unveiling launch event in February. Hydrogen leveraged the revolutionary new truck design to develop an intriguing “teaser” series of silhouetted images, which showcased the aggressive curves and new LED lighting system of the T680 Next Generation. As the launch date approached, we revealed more details of the truck in digital and social media messages. A daily countdown “T-Minus 13 Days” etc., accompanying the slow reveal of the new design at the event on 02.11.2021.
Additional executions debuted in vertical publications to highlight the T680 Next Generation’s sleek, aerodynamic styling, completely redesigned driver control center and the advanced engineering of PACCAR’s fully integrated powertrain. Long known as the Driver’s Truck™, the newest T680 model is sure to be a hit with both the drivers who helped design it, and the fleet owners who know their drivers deserve nothing less than the World’s Best®.
