Tektronix came to us with an exciting new project—the global launch of a game-changing oscilloscope that was small enough to carry like a laptop, yet powerful enough to do the sensitive measurements electrical engineers need to create new technologies like cell phones or even automotive systems and more.

This new “scope” had as much style as power, and we knew the product itself deserved to be the hero in the global teaser and launch campaign. Our “Next Gen Tek” idea leveraged the known and trusted Tektronix brand, while introducing a new look, form factor, and award-winning touchscreen interface that could move from bench to field as easily as its owner. Using dark, mysterious lighting, we teased the futuristic “scope” and weeks later, revealed the new hand-held device in all of its glory.
Solution
Next Gen Tek” took on a life of its own within Tektronix and now represents many initiatives beyond the new “scope.” In addition, the product was nominated for awards in both EMEA and in the U.S.
